Any tool or artistic style within a painting may exist on its own or merge with others into a unified whole, just as the unpredictable facets of our world separate and come together. Textural techniques echo the very texture of reality itself. In each painting, I bring together the scattered fragments of art into a single, harmonious whole just as the soul unites thought and feeling. When I am asked about my style, I simply answer: my style is our world. The tools with which I create my paintings are quietly whispered to me by my soul.
